Course Objectives:
Introduction to RDS:
- Understand the purpose and benefits of red dot sights.

Safety and Handling:
- Review firearm safety rules specific to RDS-equipped pistols.
- Practice safe holstering and unholstering techniques.

This class will be conducted all on the outdoor firing range, so please dress accordingly depending on the time of year, rain, or shine we shoot.
MUST READ:
If you want to run this class from concealment, you must have a minimum of two years of concealed carry experience and/or provide proof of training from a reliable source beyond the MD Wear and Carry Class.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.
Requirements
- RDS-equipped pistol (slide-mounted red dot pistol, no dovetail mounts)
- The ability to carry three magazines
- Quality holster (excluding Serpas and old leather holsters)
OWB ONLY unless cleared by the instructor to run from concealment
- 250 rounds of quality factory new ammunition (no reloads)
- Eye and ear protection
- Spare batteries for RDS
- Tools to work on optic and firearm
- Note-taking materials
