About DF6 Firearms Academy & Consulting
Gerard has over 20 years of experience with firearms and self-defense training. He holds numerous certifications and is often consulted as industry expert.
Gerard joined the United States Navy at the age of 17, where he spent 8 years serving as a Master-At-Arms preforming Anti-Terrorism and Counter Drug Operations in South America. In his 8 years in the U.S. Navy, Gerard was part of a joint special operations team and a firearms instructor. After his time in the Navy, Gerard work for the Department of Defense in New Orleans.
As an instructor, Gerard has taught hundreds of students, ranging in various skill levels, basic to advanced pistol and rifle marksmanship. In addition to firearms training, he has taught room/building clearing, and led multiple breaching courses. In the private sector, Gerard taught various organizations providing training for service members, law enforcement, and everyday Americans

Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a credit for future date. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not receive credit. NO refunds.

Students are required to reschedule at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a credit for future date. Classes rescheduled less than 48 hours before the class will not receive credit. NO refunds.
