F.A.S.T. stands for Fundamentals and Safety Training. This is a handgun course, designed as a beginner class and refresher course for those wanting to brush up on the basics.

This class will begin in the classroom with lecture and discussion, and practical application of fundamentals using "dummy" guns. The class will move to the range for a short drill session using live fire.

Expectations and Outcomes
Students will accomplish learning and applying the basic fundamentals of handguns/pistols. Students should find this class to help them be more comfortable with a new handgun, or as a new student...and experienced students will find that they are refreshed on the fundamentals and regain confidence to conceal carry or even to take the concealed carry class.
Students will receive certificate of completion.

Requirements
- A modern, serviceable, handgun
- Ear and Eye protection (electronic muffs preferred).
- 50 Rounds of Ammunition: Factory fresh ammo only. NO RELOADS or specialty ammo.
- Comfortable clothing
- Hydration system or Bottled water.
- Shoes – comfortable with sufficient support to permit a full range of motion. No sandals or flip-flops.
- Long Pants, Shirt With Higher Collar
- Baseball Cap
