Hello, 
My name is Sean Grigsba. I am founder and co-owner of "Defensability".  My wife of 30 years and our 3 adult sons are owners as well and assist in teaching our courses. 
I live in North Central Oklahoma and have been in Law Enforcement for approx 17 years.  I started as a municipal Police Officer and am currently with the Sheriff's Office. Prior to Law Enforcement I worked and trained with an agency that specialized in advanced criminal interdiction.  
I joined the US Army in 1987 and was Medically discharged in 1989.  My sons are all currently serving in the US Army and the US Air Force. 
My family also owns and operates a security company that provides Armed Private security as well as Armed Executive security to our classified category of clients. 
I have a passion to teach and see others grow as they learn something new and exciting.  I have been providing training here to LEO officers for at least 10 years and feel that I will be for many more years to come.  I enjoy being around those that want to learn because I find that I too can learn from them.  You are never too good or too old to learn. 
In recent years I have been approached about providing firearms training to citizens that are looking for more than what they were given when they received their CCW permit from......."whomever". 
I feel that each responsible gun owner has the desire to learn more about how to protect themselves and their families.  We want to help.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Defensability reserves the right to "cancel" courses due to safety and or weather related issues.
Cancellation notifications will be made via email and text messaging for rescheduling procedures.  
Students can cancel and/or reschedule their registration prior to 48hrs of the course.

Reschedule Policy

Defensability reserves the right to "reschedule" courses due to safety and or weather issues.
Defensability reserves the right to "reschedule" courses if the minimum number of students isn't met.
Recheduling notifications will be made via email and text messaging.

Refund Policy

Students cancelling more than 48 hrs before a scheduled start time will reciece a refund less the scheduling fees.  

Students cancelling 48hrs or less before a scheduled start time will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee.

Students cancelling on the day of or "no shows" are not eligible for a refund. 

Cancellations must be done via email and text messaging to Defensability.

Waiver

Instructor and Student Users agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend DEFENSABILITY INSTRUCTORS, CRL Resources LLC AND ITS STAFF, AGENTS AND OFFICERS (hereinafter referred to as “Defensability Parties”) from any and all fault, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, and demands or lawsuits arising out of, related to or connected with Users’ presence at and/or participation in any listed or offered course of instruction; the discharge of firearms by User, Users’ presence on or use of any range, building, land, and premises (“Premises”) which User is required to be present at during any course of instruction; and, any and all acts or omissions of Users’ while on Premises and while participating in any course of instruction either as an instructor or as a student.

Users’ furthermore waive for himself/herself and for his/her executors, personal representative, administrators, assignees, heirs, and next of kin; any and all rights and claims for damages, losses, demands, and any other actions or claims whatsoever, which he/she may have or which may arise against DEFENSABILITY (including, but not limited to the death of a User and/or any and all injuries, damages, or illnesses suffered by User or Users’ property,) which may, in any way, whatsoever, arise out of, be related to, or be connected with; the course of instruction; the Premises, including any latent defect in the Premises; Users’ presence on or use of said Premises; Users’ property; and the discharge of firearms. DEFENSABILITY shall not be liable for, and User, on behalf of himself/herself and on behalf of his/her executors, personal representative, administrators, assignees, heirs, and next of kin, hereby expressly releases DEFENSABILITY from any and all such claims and liabilities.

Users’ hereby expressly assume the risk of taking part in the course for instruction in firearms and taking part in the activities on the Premises, which may include, but are not limited to, instruction in the use of firearms, the discharge of firearms and the firing of live ammunition.

Please Take Note: USER AGREES TO USE DEFENSABILITY AND UNDERTAKE FIREARM INSTRUCTION AT THEIR OWN PERIL AND RISK! DEFENSABILITY has no knowledge of Users’ qualifications, medical conditions or fitness level as some instruction may include physical activities. Accordingly, User agrees to be responsible for determining (alone or in consultation with a healthcare professional) whether his or her participation in any instruction course available through DEFENSABILITY might pose an adverse health risk. User accepts all responsibility for use of the website and any available instruction.
