Description
The Basic Pistol class is designed with the first time gun owner in mind, including those who are not yet gun owners but are thinking about becoming one. In a classroom setting, we use "immersion training" to cover all the topics for safe and responsible gun ownership while removing the fears and misconceptions of owning a handgun. Students "learn by doing".
The Basic Pistol class is an introductory class and is a prerequisite for any student desiring to take more advanced classes with Dakota Firearms, such as Live Fire training at a range.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
This Concealed Carry class is a follow up to the Basic Pistol class where students learn if concealed carry is for them.
The instructor will first review various carrying techniques and methods. If the student owns a handgun and already has a favorite holster or other carry method, they welcome to bring both their UNLOADED handgun and their holster to the class. However, ownership in guns and holsters is not required.
The instructor will spend a large portion of class time teaching and getting students to understand the most important aspect of concealed carry...doing so legally.
