Description
Essential skills are needed to use a handgun effectively and safely. These include getting your pistol out of the holster, bringing the sights into view, and delivering the shot where it needs to go.
Each session will address defensive handgun skills, tailored to the student's skill levels and goals.
This course is appropriate for a variety of shooters who wish to improve their ability to use their handguns defensively.
This is not a concealed carry permit class.
Topics Covered
We will start Firearms Safety and your equipment before quickly moving into the evening's material. That material will focus on using your handgun defensively, based on the initial drill we do and the class' interest. It could be movement, multiple threats or target transitions, strong-hand only or weak-hand, and more.
Expectations and Outcomes
After the workshop, you'll have the necessary information and practice to continue dry practicing, working on the skills we covered. The specific information is dependant on the material and skill sets addressed in that session.
