Description
This class works through high-risk pedestrian and vehicle stop tactics. Day 1 covers human factors, legal considerations, historical events, officer & training safety, and best practices. We will look at ammunition performance against barriers, then officer-down rescues, before concluding with low light considerations.
Day #2 addresses positioning, commands, handling both compliant and non-compliant suspects before approaching and clearing the vehicles. The course concludes with opposed scenarios involving a variety of suspect behaviors. The goal is to train your instructors to evaluate various tactics, techniques, and procedures before teaching them to the agency.
