Description
The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course is designed for individuals of all experience levels who want to learn the fundamentals of pistol shooting in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Whether you’re a first-time shooter or looking to sharpen your skills, this course provides a comprehensive foundation in firearm safety, operation, and marksmanship.
Students will receive hands-on instruction with both classroom learning and live-fire range exercises. Topics include:
Firearm safety rules and procedures
Pistol parts and operation (semi-automatic and revolver)
Ammunition knowledge and selection
Shooting fundamentals and range protocol
Pistol cleaning and maintenance
Safe storage and transport of firearms
Successful completion of the course includes the NRA Certificate of Completion, which may satisfy training requirements for a concealed carry permit, depending on your state.
This course is led by a certified NRA instructor and emphasizes responsible gun ownership, safety, and skill development.
