Cameron Poter has been around firearms his entire life. His mom was a police officer and his dad was in the Reserves. Deer camp was an annual tradition, and his older brother joined the Air Force right out of high school. While Cameron enjoys hunting and shooting, he has always loved writing and producing content. He is in his natural element when he’s in the mountains with pen and paper, or a laptop with a full battery.

In his career, he has had the pleasure of acting as showrunner and host for a gun channel on Facebook and YouTube, which has given him opportunities to learn about new. Writing for Hunting Mark has allowed him to dive deeper into fresh topics and has given him insight beyond personal experience. “I consider it a privilege to be a part of such a great endeavor,” says Cameron.
