Description

We understand and appreciate the various learning styles and abilities of citizens seeking to learn about responsible gun ownership and safe handling of a pistol. That is why we offer this informally styled, hands-on class for novice shooters, new pistol owners and those needing a refresher. We treat all of our students with dignity and respect. With one-on-one instruction, we start with an emphasis on safety, learning how guns work, how to load them, action types, stance, grip, aiming, breathing and trigger control. We foster a relaxed environment and rely on the student to guide us in their learning method (verbal, viewing demonstrations, hands-on) through each step of the class. On completion of the basics class, students will gain confidence in their ability to safely handle and shoot a handgun.
