The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course seeks to lay the groundwork for more advanced shooting opportunities. It develops the fundamental KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ATTITUDE necessary for safe and effective firearm use.
Qualifying students will recieve a certificate of completion (written exam). Completion will qualify students to enroll in more advanced NRA courses.

-eye and ear protection
-at least 150 rounds of ammunition
-note taking supplies (paper, pen, etc)
NOTE: A pistol is not necessary but is recommended. If you are taking this course partly to determine which pistol is right for you, the range provides various handguns for a rental fee and may assist you in making a good choice. The range also has eye and ear protection for rent and ammunition for sale.
