Handgun and simulator fun day

Description

This is intended to be a fun, light lift for students where we will spend time working on handgun drills, eating together and running scenario based training  in the 300 degree simulator.

Access to special areas of the range and special events are provided on the condition that we purchase food from the Guntry cafe. Class price does NOT include food.

Please check the gear list for necessary items.

Please use Tactical Handgun 1 and "General" gear lists as guides.

Prepare accordingly for an indoor vs. outdoor range.

Be advised among other items you will need a good hard-sided (kydex) outside the waistband holster that covers the entire trigger guard as we will be moving and will not use the benches.

You are responsible for bringing safe, functional firearms to class.

Students not prepared for class may be turned away.

All live firearms and ammunition should be removed prior to entering the simulator.

Topics Covered

Itinerary:

All times in eastern time.

1. Before class, be sure to fill out Guntry' waiver at https://www.bizzflo.com/booking/index/onboarding/code/po5d6939fd  - Let us know if you have trouble in advance.
2. Check-in before 9am at the front desk. Range starts promptly at 9am.
3. Range time with Handgun drills. 9-10:30 am
4. Tour of Guntry's VIP area. 10:30-11am
5. Lunch (Guntry cafe-price not included). 11am-12pm
6. Scenario-based training in the 300 degree simulator. 12pm-1pm
7. Debrief 1pm-1:30pm 

Expectations and Outcomes

Students will be refreshed on handgun training and emerse themselves in scenarios designed to put them under stress.
