Description
Learn NC laws of deadly force and concealed carry, with extensive discussion of deadly force law. Work on your knowledge and handling of handguns, as well as marksmanship, Carry methods, and classroom work on the concealed draw. We are the value leader in use-of-force and firearms training. Don't just get your certificate, get an education.

Learn NC laws of deadly force and concealed carry, with extensive discussion of deadly force law, within and beyond the scope of the NC booklet.
Handgun safety and storage.
Handgun types and parts.
Ammunition choices and limitations.
Safe gun handling including loading, unloading, showing clear, working the slide, and the controls of your handgun.
Basic and protection marksmanship.
Concealed carry options and holsters.
Draw practice with training guns in the classroom.
Expectations and Outcomes
Plan to leave class with extensive knowledge of deadly force laws, both in general, and specific to North Carolina.
Learn where you can, and cannot, legally carry concealed under NC law.
Understanding how different types of handguns work, to help you select the best one for you.
Understanding how different types of Ammunition work, to help you select the best ones for you.
Have an understanding of safe and effective gun handling.
Learn the basic hows and whys of defensive handgun use to stop a deadly threat
Learn pros and cons of different concealed carry methods.
Have base understanding and practice of how to safely draw and holster a handgun (not live fire)
Successful students over the age of 18 will recieve a certificate. Concealed Carry Permits are available through your Sheriff's Department only for those age 21 and older. The lag time allowed between certificate date and permit application varies by County Sheriff (often no limitation)

Documentation Requirements
Government issued Photo-ID. U.S. Citizens and Legal Residents only.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Functioning Self-Defense Handgun. (standard sights or red dot aiming system. Lasers will be taped during qualification)
Please have your handgun in unloaded condition in a hard or soft case.
35 rounds of ammunition for your handgun.
Please do not bring handgun or ammunition into the classroom.
Lunch, snacks, drinks.
Eye and Ear protection (we can provide if you need it - Please let us know)
