Description
This class is designed for young students as an introduction.
The first few hours are classroom.
The last hour is live fire. Safety and the fundamentals are emphasized to maximize their first time out.
NOTE:
When registering, you are securing one seat in this class. If you want to add another youth shooter(s), you may register them online by selecting an add-on.
PARENT/GUARDIAN REQUIREMENT:
This class is for youth students between the ages of 10-17; however, anyone over 18 should take either of our First Shots: Pistol Basics course or the License to Carry Plus course.
Registration in this class is for the youth shooter. A parent or guardian must be present during the duration of class but won't participate.

- Firearm Knowledge & Safe Handling
- Ammunition Knowledge
- Fundamentals of shooting
- Live Fire shooting at the range

Expectations and Outcomes
This class will teach minors basic knowledge, skills, and attitude to identify and use a firearm safely.
After completing this class, the child(ren) can safely use the range with their parent's or a guardian's supervision.

Documentation Requirements
ATTENTION PARENTS:
- You will need to sign waivers and a registration form for your child(ren)
- You will need to stay with your child(ren) for the duration of the class
Requirements
- 50 rounds of ammunition
- Eye and ear protection
- Hat (to deflect spent brass)
- Closed-toe shoes or boots
The class price does not include ammunition. Ammunition will be selected based on the firearm preference of the student(s) during the class. Ammunition can be purchased directly from the instructor for the shooting portion of the class.
