Description
This is a 40 hour, PA MPOETC approved Semi-Auto Pistol Instructor course restricted to law enforcement and military personnel. This course is built around our Critical Skills Instructor Development curriculum which prepares instructors to safely and effectively develop and conduct high-quality law enforcement firearms training and education. Students will graduate with an understanding of risk management, policy making, range operations and management, adult education methodology and techniques, practical skills development, legal aspects, and much more. Students are required to pass a challenging qualification course of fire to graduate. Expectations and Outcomes
Instructor candidates will graduate as confident entry-level pistol instructors. This course has been approved by MPOETC for a Certified LE Firearms Instructor Course. Students apply to MPOETC following successful graduation to become Pennsylvania Certified LE Firearms Instructors.
Certification is valid for 3 years from date of successful completion
