Description

In our USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals class, we focus on situational awareness and conflict avoidance. Our course will empower students to be self-determined and intentional about their safety and the safety of those they love. We place heavy emphasis on the legal aspects of carrying a firearm; when you can use force, how to travel with a firearm, and dealing with the aftermath of a self-defense encounter. Finally, the time you spend on the range with our instructors will introduce you important skills and the lessons learned will encourage safe and responsible firearm ownership.

Class runs from 8:00am to 6pm EST.

I provide lunch, range fees, target, eye and ear protection.

If you need to rent a firearm and purchase ammunition at the range, you will be able to. The costs of a firearm rental and ammunition will be approximately $50.

Expectations and Outcomes

Successful completion of this course will grant you the certificate required to apply for the Michigan Concealed Pistol License.

Requirements

If you have your own firearm and ammunition, you may bring it, but please keep the firearm cased and unloaded. No ammunition is permitted in the classroom. 50 rounds of ammunition is required. Please keep ammo in your vehicle until we arrive at the gun range.
