My name is Chad King, and I am the Chief Instructor and Founder of Apex Defense Solutions, LLC.

I have a fervent passion for right to keep and bear arms! To be candid, this wasn’t always the case. I did not grow up around firearms, and some of my first experiences with firearms were VERY negative in the impoverished community of my youth. As I got older and read history, I began to understand that exercising my Second Amendment rights are just as important as exercising other rights. Now, I’m humbled by the opportunity to help others learn about firearms to protect themselves and their family, as well as for sport and competition.
