NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting

Description

This course is at least ten hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a shotgun. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, shotgun parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shooting from the standing, and kneeling positions, cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

Firearms available for the Shotgun training class:

1. Mossberg 500 Pump Action 12gauge
2. Berika 12ga. Over/Under Shotgun
3. Tokarev Semi-Automatic Bullpup 5-Round Mag 12ga

In this course, the students will receive:
The Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook.
NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure.
Eyes and ears protection, Shotgun rental fee, and targets
NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet.
Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination Test.
NRA course completion certificate.
