Description

We don't just want you to know how to shoot... that's the easy part! We want to prepare you to exercise your Constitutional right in a responsible way! This includes knowing what the Florida laws are as well as what you might encounter in other states. We teach conflict avoidance, situational awareness, and the legal consequences you could face! We also teach you what you should (and should not) say after a self-defense incident. Did you know that you will likely have physical side effects after a self-defense shooting? You probably should learn what those are and exactly how they can effect you and your defense. Then, of course, we teach you what you need to know about the gun and handling it.

We hope you agree that knowing these things is very important! And most other instructors do not touch most of these topics. This is why you should come to us.

Our classroom is located at Rural King in Leesburg. The classroom is across from the restrooms, and upstairs. Rural King has been great to us and if you didn't know it, they also sell guns there! Because of this relationship we can keep the cost very reasonable.

Then we go to the range to qualify you to receive your Certificate

Expectations and Outcomes

Florida law requires that for you to receive a CCW certificate you must take a course (like ours) and "discharge a weapon"... that's all... that's scary.
We will be sure that you can shoot the firearm and hit the target. We have you shoot until we think you are ok to get your CCW! But everyone will shoot at least 10 rounds.
When we have seen you shoot, we will sign the certificates we provide for you.

Documentation Requirements

For your certificate we need to have a picture of your Driver's License texted to - 352-978-1057

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Requirements

We provide a .22 caliber firearm AND the ammo to qualify students.

If you wish to bring  your own weapon to qualify, please also bring your own ammo.
