Description

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE TEXTING, CALLING OR EMAILING FOR INFORMATION!

This course consists of eight hours of classroom instruction and includes the following areas: Legal issues (2 hours), Handgun nomenclature, Handgun safety, Handgun fundamentals, Marksmanship fundamentals, Presentation techniques, Cleaning and Maintenance, Ammunition and Proficiency Drills.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING A FIREARM FOR THE CLASSROOM PORTION.

The following day we will meet at the range to shoot the NC CCH qualification test. You may use your firearm OR one of ours to qualify.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FIREARM OF YOUR OWN PLEASE BRING AT LEAST 50 ROUNDS OF .22LR AMMO OR BE PREPARED TO PURCHASE AMMO IN ORDER TO QUALIFY.

Drawing and presenting your firearm from a concealed position.

Expectations and Outcomes

At the end of this course the student will have the knowledge and skill to qualify for a State of North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit.

Please bring a NORTH CAROLINA Drivers license or Identification card.

This course is only valid for North Carolina residents applying for their NC CCH license with their county Sheriff.

If you would like to qualify with your personally owned firearm please bring it otherwise you may borrow one of ours.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FIREARM OF YOUR OWN PLEASE BRING AT LEAST 50 ROUNDS OF .22LR AMMO OR BE PREPARED TO PURCHASE AMMO IN ORDER TO QUALIFY.

YOU MUST BRING EYE/EAR PROTECTION (PPE) OR BE PREPARED TO PURCHASE PPE IN ORDER TO QUALIFY.

Please wear pants, a long sleeve shirt and closed toed shoes as these will help protect you from injury.

YOU MUST ARRANGE TO QUALIFY WITH YOUR CLASS OR INDIVIDUALLY WITHIN SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS OF THE DATE OF YOUR CLASS OR YOU WILL BEREQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR ANOTHER CLASS.

Must meet ALL the below requirements to apply for a N.C. Concealed Carry permit

be twenty-one (21) years of age;
have attained at least one month's residency (30 days) in Mecklenburg County;
be a citizen or a naturalized citizen of the United States or a lawful permanent resident alien;
not suffer from any mental or physical infirmity which would prevent safe handgun handling and operation
at the time of appointment, provide a valid driver's license or other Government ID with current address provided by the State of North Carolina.
