Description
Class Duration: 3 1/2 hours
Class Focus: Florida laws relating to the lawful use of lethal force in self-defense, stand-your-ground, Castle Doctrine, and the four stages of the pistol draw.
Objective: By the end of the class, students will understand Florida’s laws regarding self-defense and the proper technique for drawing a pistol in self defense.
The Florida Concealed Weapon License is valid in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Deleware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming
Expectations and Outcomes
At the end of this course the student will have the knowledge and skill to apply for the Florida Concealed Weapon License.
