Description
This is a "next steps" program specifically focused on proper fit, form and function of a handgun. Especially well suited to the student who hasn't been exposed to a lot of different handguns with an in depth look at parts, pieces, proper fit and functional considerations.
Very often we find "gun store" advice lacking, especially when it comes to a first time gun buyer and we want to help provide a platform to ensure prospective buyers can make the most educated decision possible.
This program however is not just for the student brand new to handguns and training. This course is also a short duration fundamental skills class with an opportunity to work with several different firearm types.
Students will need 100 rds of 9mm ammunition and are welcome to bring their own handgun and 100 rds of suitable training ammunition for it.
Topics Covered
Grip, Sights and Sighting systems (pistol mounted optic) and Trigger discussion as they relate to individual fit, form and funtion of a handgun.
Expectations and Outcomes
This is an in depth look at the fundamental skills that are required to efficiently use a handgun with several makes, models and functional types of pistols used throughout the course.
Types
Basic, Intermediate, Concealed Carry Training
Requirements
100 rds 9mm ammunition
If you bring your own handgun, 100 rds of suitable training ammunition if it's any caliber other than 9mm
