Description
The USCCA AR-15 Fundamentals course includes both classroom & live fire range instruction, designed to introduce responsible gun owners to the safe handling, proper care & maintenance, operation & effective us of AR-15 style rifles, in the context of personal & home defense. Class includes a variety of drills designed to increase students comfort & competency with the AR-15 platform. Must complete both Module 1 & Module 2 in order to receive the USCCA AR-15 Fundamentals certificate. Module 1 is a pre-requisite for Module 2.
Topics Covered
This course will include:
-Care & maintenance of the AR-15
-Proper rifle setup
-Functions, use & operation of the AR-15
-Zeroing your AR-15
-Natural point of aim & recoil management
-Emergency & tactical reloads
-Mechanical offset & holdover
-Balancing speed & precision
Expectations and Outcomes
After completing this course, students will have a better understanding of the safe handling, proper care, mainetenance, and operation of the AR-15 in the context of personal & home defense.

Requirements
It is essential that you bring the required equipment listed below to participate in the course:
Closed Toed Shoes
Eye & Ear Protection (Electronic Preferred)
AR-15 Rifle-Keep your gear as minimalist as possible. Your rifle MUST have a sling and sighting system (a simple red dot, or just iron sights are ideal)

At Least 300 Rounds of Reliable Ammunition

AR-15 Fundamentals Module 1 is a pre-requisite before attending Module 2. Students must successfully complete BOTH Modules to earn their USCCA AR-15 Fundamentals Certificate.
