Description
We're excited to announce this collaboration course from Acumen Tactical & OGS Training. This live fire training class is designed to enhance your fundamental pistol handling and defensive shooting skills, such as drawing from the holster/concealment, instinctive shooting & defensive accuracy, clearing malfunctions, reloads, throttle control, and target transitions. Students should have a working knowledge & familiarity with the basics of pistol shooting & safe firearms handling.
Topics Covered
This course will cover fundamental defensive shooting & marksmanship skills, including:
drawing from the holster/concealment, instinctive shooting & defensive accuracy, clearing malfunctions, reloads, throttle control, & target transitions.
Expectations and Outcomes
At the end of this course of instruction, students will gain confidence in their gun handling skills & fundamentals of defensive shooting & marksmanship. Students will gain experience in a variety of different skill drills that they can use to continue to develop their skills in their own live fire or dry fire practice moving forward.

Closed Toed Shoes
Eye & Ear Protection (Electronic Preferred)
Semi-Automatic Pistol w/At Least Two Magazines
At Least 200 Rounds of Ammunition
High Quality Concealment/Open Carry Holster (Appendix or Strong Side Carry) with Appropriate Belt (No shoulder holsters collapsable "belly band" or "Uncle Mike's" style holsters. A good Kydex holster is preferred).
At Least One Additional Magazine Carrier
