Description
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, nomenclature, operation, & defensive shooting fundamentals, and how it applies to home defense and self protection. After successful completion of this course, you will also meet the requirements to apply for your NC Concealed Carry permit.

Expectations and Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course will have a basic understanding of the basics of firearms ownership, safety, nomenclature, operation, & defensive shooting fundamentals. We will also cover relevant use of force legal issues & concealed carry laws. Students must pass a written examine and demonstrate safe gun handling and proficiency through a live fire qualification to meet the requirements to apply for their NC Concealed Carry permit.
