Description
This six-hour hybrid practical shooting workshop is structured with an EDC-focus for defensive application then, as a tool for development, skills are practiced on a competition match stage. Offered quarterly, every workshop is anchored in training to overdevelop core foundational shooting skills with an emphasis on a different hard skill in each class. For April, we will stress target transitions. You’ll then test skills on unique competition stages designed to pressure test the work done in class.
In the first half of each class, you’ll run a series of challenging drills based on core shooting principles and current performance shooting concepts. Run from concealment, you’ll use your actual carry gun, working aggressive shooting and hard skills you’d potentially need in a defensive encounter, including draw stroke, multiple target transitions, movement and varying distances all under time constraints.
In the second half of the class, you’ll learn the value of competition by immediately applying what you learn in a competition setting, running outlaw hit factor stages to pressure test your skills, solidify understanding and gain experience.
