Description
The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) is a federal law that will require all small businesses registered as a limited partnership, LLC, or Corporation (along with other entities such as trusts) to register with the United States Financial Crimes Enforcement Network by Januarty 1, 2025 or face significant fines and criminal penalties.
This course will explain if you need to register, and will coach you through how you need to register along with how to maintain compliance.
While this act is being appealed (and we hope it is found unconstitutional) it is highly unlikely that it will be found so, and thus FFLs, Instructors and any other small business owner will need to comply by January 1, 2025.
All topics will be addressed by an attorney and professor of business law.
