Description

This course is taught by a licensed Ohio attorney and will cover, in plain language, the basics of self-defense law, with an emphasis on the choices around the usage of lethal and non-lethal force, de-escalation, avoidance, and the importance of alternatives to the use of force.

A round-table discussion especially for instructors, this class will equip you to better discuss important issues facing students in Ohio. The goal is to help instructors who may not necessarily have a legal background feel confident addressing legal issues in your classroom setting.

Nothing in this course is to be construed as legal advice nor will enrolling or attending this course create an attorney-client relationship.  In the event that specific legal advice is required, the student is advised to retain the services of an appropriately qualified attorney.
