Description
This is a fundamental skills test to determine if the student is capable of handling a firearm in an effective and efficient manner. Students will shoot a timed course of fire at 3, 5, and 7 yards. Students will fire free style, dominant hand and support hand. Students must put 15 out of 20 shots within the thoracic triangle, any shot outside of the silhouette is a failure. Two failures or any safety violation will disqualify the student. The student will need more training before being retested.

Expectations and Outcomes
Students will receive a pass or fail. If student does not pass the qualification, they will be given a remedial attempt. If the student fails twice, more basic shooting training is recommended.

The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.
Requirements
Firearm, eye protection, ear protection, holster, 2 magazines, magazine carrier, minimum 20 rounds of ammo.
